There are so many chick lit websites and blogs out there, so I have been looking for some really good ones. I found a fabulous one that you can access by clicking the link below.
This website is almost all encompassing of what you could hope for in a chick-lit webpage. It has an easy to navigate side-bar, which allows you to search books by theme, and find suggestions on books you may like to read. It has an awesome page on how to start and run a bookclub - also suggesting different types of book clubs. Not keen on starting up your own club? That's fine, because you can also search already existing clubs and see if there is one that suits you.
Book Club Queen has a great Q&A section with some popular authors - I loved the Q&A's with Sarah Strohmeyer. (Author of books such as 'The Penny Pinchers Club' and 'The Cinderellla Pact.') She went into heaps of detail with her replies - it's always fun to get inside the mind of an author you enjoy.
If pressed for a negative about the site, I would say there are not really many graphics - websites are effective when they are a bit more eyecatching! Also, some of the pages had advertising smack bang in the middle, which was distracting and confusing!! It didn't entice me to read the advertisement, so doesn't that defeat the purpose of having it there?
That said, this webpage is definitely worth a look - it wasn't weighted towards chick lit, so if you are even just looking for a suggestions of something new to read, you'll easily be able to find that on this webpage. Enjoy!
